With the success of its reality programming, SyFy has decided to pick up three more reality shows. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the cable outlet will announce today that it is picking up Haunted Collector, Legend Quest and Paranormal Witness to air later this year.

Actor Jason Priestley is moving to a new zip code. He'll be part of a four-episode story arc on the upcoming season of "Haven." In addition, he will direct an episode of the series for SyFy.

"Firefly" will dominate the airwaves every Sunday with an encore episode of the previous week airing 9pm ET to be followed by the network premiere of the next episode in the series airing at 10pm ET. As a special treat for "Firefly" fans, star of Science Channel's "Sci-Fi Science," and the cofounder of string field theory, Dr. Michio Kaku, will be commentating on the science behind "Firefly" for each episode.

The BBC's Merlin has been a solid hit in the UK and a staple of SyFy's Friday night line-up for its past two seasons. And while I have nothing against the show, I have to admit it's not one that's made my DVR's season pass list.
