A legal dispute over who has the rights to three characters introduced in the comic book series spawn has seen two of the industries biggest names take the witness stand. Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane are engaged in the suit. A judge will determine if McFarlane owes Gaiman for the use of three characters in the Spawn comics.
